Oil-free Potato Chips

CHIPS! Yes, please. Adding a tray of water in the oven while the potatoes bake steams the potatoes to perfection - creating a crispy fat-free chip. I like to make chips to avoid trans fats. You can use a little bit of coconut oil if you like them more oily.


Oil-free Potato Chips


1.5kg organic agria potatoes, rinsed and chopped 

2 teaspoons dried rosemary



Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place a small tray or oven proof dish of water onto the bottom rack of the oven. Chop the potatoes into chips and place on baking paper in a large oven dish. Sprinkle with rosemary.

Bake until cooked, then put on grill setting for a few minutes until golden. 

Serve with smashed avocado and a lemon or lime.
