Blueberries & Cream Smoothie

I'm excited to share this delicious Blueberries and Cream Smoothie as part of the Froothie 7 Day Smoothie Challenge.

As you all know, I love my smoothies! #everydamday 

Every once in a while, I create a smoothie where I have to write it down because it's so good. This is one of them! 

Why I'm especially excited to share this recipe with you is because I've managed to add in my homemade coconut yoghurt!

My love affair with coconut yoghurt started last month when my sister-in-law taught me how to make it from scratch... saving a fair amount of $$. Now I make a special effort to have a big jar in the fridge every week.

I love giving coconut yoghurt to my daughter Beth as it's full of probiotics (being good for your gut), and it's also a great source of healthy fats.

Blueberries & Cream Smoothie

Ingredients:

2 ripe spotty bananas
1/2-1 cup frozen organic blueberries
1-2 tablespoons unsweetened coconut yoghurt
2 fresh passionfruit or frozen passionfruit
1 teaspoon barley grass juice powder

 

Method:

Blend and enjoy! Depending on the thickness of your coconut yoghurt, you may need to add a touch of water.
